Bourbon chicken was so burnt, it was charred and barely edible. Even the egg rolls were burnt. Crab Rangoon was just cream cheese, no crab. For how expensive it was, I definitely expected better.

Everything was great and tasted good. Only issue were the crab rangoons weren’t filled with enough cream cheese/crab filling. Was more air and fried wonton than cream cheese/crab filling.

The tofu was fried much too hard, and uncoated, the combination of which made it difficult to chew and less than pleasant to consume. For me, the flavor was a bit too sweet and not particularly as spicy as I prefer, but overall good. The texture was the main issue here, that and the lack of and breading /batter, etc. The chicken was fantastic, maybe the tiniest bit dry from high or prolonged frying time /temperature. The french fries were also fried a bit too long or in an overly higher temperature oil than ideal. Flavor for both were on point however. And the frying affected the potatoes more apparently than the chicken which, again, was darn near perfect. The soup was lovely. A bit saltier than I like it, but easily rectified by a small amount of boiling water. The wonton wrappers are a bit too thick but I understand that they might be too delicate otherwise to survive delivery! And if I want thin wontons, well, that's what home cooking is for :) Top China's wontons and broth are perfect in a pinch, and are extremely comforting short of my mom's own version. Finally, the chili oil is FANTASTIC. The recipe seems to have changed a bit over the years, but I think its even better now. Lovely meal overall. And helped an under the weather family feel better. Addendum - I'm sorry to not be able to not recommend the current incarnation of TC's General Tso's Tofu, but this may be completely personal, and not a suggestion to avoid it outright at all. Please take my comments with a grain of salt. Only you can decide if, in the end, this is the best GT Tofu ever and that my palate is made of... wood. Top China has always been consistent, FRESH, fast, quality food in our experience. And the employees have always been just plain lovely and respectful.

Dumplings and wontons were excellent. I love their steamed dumplings recipe. The wings seemed rather bland and dry though. I'll have to order again to see if it was just that batch or if it's actually their wing style.

The food at this location has changed. They gave me less food for the same price and did not include the free items since i ordered over 25 dollars. I will not order from here again.

This is the second time we've ordered from Top China. This time around was just as fantastic as the first. They deliver quickly (even in Tampa rush hour) and our food is always amazing.
